Life coaching as a profession began only in the 1980s when Thomas Leonard, an American financial planner developed his career with a then relatively unheard of term ‘Life Coach’. Our CEO, Gerard O’Donovan was one of the first people in Europe to train with Thomas Leonard at Coach U, the very first coach training school founded in 1992 by Leonard to train Professional Life Coaches. This was even before Tony Robbins launched his career as a ‘Peak Performance Coach’ in 1988 with his first Infomercial, Personal Power.
