The Institute for Credentialed Coach Training was formed by leaders in the Coaching industry, and an Affective Neuroscientist, Tony Vernon, to provide the best coach training education in the marketplace and as our mission statement says ‘Mental & Emotional Health to Well-Being and Coaching to Performing at your Best’. It involves Fellow and Master Level Coaches with the International Authority for Professional Coaching and Mentoring (IAPC&M) and International Coaching Federation (ICF) trained coaches. We are the only coach training company in the World with 43 International Awards and with corporate clients that include: IBM, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, AIRBUS, Citibank and BP to name just a few notable clients.
Noble Manhattan Coaching, our partner, was founded in 1993 and is one of the longest established life, executive and corporate coach training companies in the world providing accredited life, executive and corporate coach training. With the now 900+ coach training companies worldwide we stand for accreditation to protect and grow the coaching industry. We have to date trained more than 26,000 coaches worldwide. Loves Hidden Policy, another partner, has 27+ years of experience coaching clients with expertise in couples, parent-child and family coaching.
Life coaching as a profession began only in the 1980s when Thomas Leonard, an American financial planner developed his career with a then relatively unheard of term ‘Life Coach’. Gerard O’Donovan, the Chairman of Noble Manhattan Coaching was one of the first people in Europe to train with Thomas Leonard at Coach U, the very first coach training school founded in 1992 by Leonard to train professional life coaches. This was even before Tony Robbins launched his career as a ‘Peak Performance Coach’ in 1988 with his first Infomercial, Personal Power. In 1994 Thomas Leonard founded the International Coach Federation (ICF) and in 2000 Coachville.
Tony Vernon, HWC, NMC, AMC, AMM studied under the late Jaak Panseep, an Estonian-American Jewish Neuroscientist and Psychobiologist and the Pioneer of Affective Neuroscience and is committed to carrying on his work. Tony has also studied under many other professors from notable institutions including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, and Emory. He is a member of the United States Ombudsman Association for public and child protection, the ICF, the IAPC&M, the Association for Coaching and a US Representative for the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring. Tony is an established Couples, Parent-Child, Family & Business Coach, because unless couples in love are personally and professionally successful, their loving relationship and/or family usually suffers from the instability that happens with inadequate communication skills, character development and overall personal and professional success.
Gerard O’Donovan was the founder of The International Authority for Professional Coaching and Mentoring (IAPC&M) and has coaching courses accredited with the ICF and the IAPC&M. He is an internationally acclaimed authority in life and executive coaching and leadership, a world class motivational speaker, consultant, author of A Coach’s Story and trainer. Gerard’s outreach has grown over the last 27+ years. The Head Office remains in the United Kingdom but there are now offices in: Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Herzegovina, Hungary, Ireland, Jordan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria and Turkey with Credentialed Coach Training, a partner with Noble Manhattan Coaching being located in Miami, USA.
